Service Advisor Job Description

If you work with us as one of our service advisors, your job will be to offer automotive warranties to customers and to consult with them on all their vehicular service, repairs, and maintenance needs. You'll be expected to maintain a professional bearing and adhere to manufacturer policies regarding maintenance and service. Over time, you'll build rapport with customers, which is an important part of retaining their business.

In more granular terms, you'll be expected to:

  • Greet customers quickly and with a smile
  • Advise customers on the care and maintenance of their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' directions
  • Generate and provide customers with a complete and accurate estimate of repair costs
  • Establish and communicate the completion time of repair with the customer and technician
  • Handle incoming service calls
